I seem to recall mention of something like this in Backpacker magazine maybe 7-8 years ago. Some place in GA provides the gear and instruction IIRC.
Always sounded like a possible way to get into some of the fun of climbing in an area with zero topography.
Bonus points if you do it dressed like a Nav'i for Halloween
