Hope not to gross anyone out on this trip, but I generally plug one nostril w/finger, aim as best i can and blow the runny fluid to the snow. Naturally I then relieve the other nostril in the same manner.

Man, I really want to make it for this but I do not have the warm gear for sleeping in the hammock. Summer quilts only. So my thought is, depending on what the plan is for Saturday maybe coming up for the day and hanging out. Then heading home that evening after diner sometime.
Snipen, if the temps are above zero, I will have insulation I can loan. If it's colder, I bet Fin has something that would work. You can bring what you have and supplement it with excess gear from Fin, FourDog, me, and others!

That would incredible. My main area of concern is my underquilt as all I have is my 3 season crowsnest. I have 2 10to20 degree sleeping bags that i can put together for my overquilt and should be ok. also a 45 degree down bag I can stuff in there as well if it gets really nasty.
So if there is enough insulation coming to share I should be able to make it for all three days then.
i look forward to hangin with you again snipen.

Beep, please take me off the list. I got the time off from work, but unfortunately that weekend is the only weekend our family could celebrate xmas with my missouri family. I'm really bummed about this
