I picked up a roll of the Atwood 1/16" line at $6 for if I remember 300 feet, army surplus store... Been using it for everything I can think of including guys.... Great lloking tarp BTW, seems I can only find 1.9 ripstop at WW, yours sure looks different that the stuff I've been finding lately....

The fabric find was pure luck. I bought the whole bolt. I should probably check to see if I have enough for an 8' X 10' tarp.

I also bought all those lines from an army surplus store. It seems to hold knots better than the dacron. I just need to get another roll that is more visible. I was going to buy the roll that looks like kelty triptease without the reflector. It is bright yellow. But, I decided on the OD. Now I run into it all the time.

I finally weighed the tarp, and it is 24.5 oz.

At $1.50 a yard looks like you got a heck of a deal.... I try to check out local WW at least every other day... Not even finding 1.9 ripstop there in the last few weeks... I bought the same line in black.... Something a little lighter would be nice but the black works well, boes hold knots well. I've larkshead to guy out points on tarp then use a close hitch at stake, nice way to avoid tangles and it adjustable to each and every set-up...
