    reaching out

How important is it to be able to reach out of your hammock and adjust your UQ? I've got a 3/4 on a HH that I had issues with at first because I could not reach out, but I seem to have figured things out a bit. Thinking of upgrading my hammock, so I'm asking to get an idea of which direction I might take on that. For instance, the zipper is only on one side of the Blackbird, correct? So is it ever an issue to be able to reach out on the non-zip side? I guess you could fully unzip and reach around, but that seems like more than I might want to do for minor adjustments. Thoughts?

Anytime I get out of the hammock and back in, I have to readjust the UQ. It is pretty obvious and straight forward, reach your arm out and pull the UQ up and over your left shoulder. The first couple times it may have been awkward, but now I've got it down to an art and do it without thinking.

I know some people, including Brandon have said they actually keep a small biner and connect the UQ shock cord to the hammock so it doesn't move.

edit: I'm using a Blackbird and Yeti/Winter Yeti.
If there's two ways to take my comments, assume it's the lighter and funnier of the two.

It is VERY easy to adjust a Yeti from one side of the hammock; I've never had to exit the hammock to adjust my Yetis.
OTOH, it is very much a PITA to adjust a Yeti from inside a traditional HH, but not impossible. A zipper mod will make life easy again.
