Woohoo! Christmas in October for me!

I don't know how the man continues to do it...but Paul...you are THE man!

My AHE XL New River literally just arrived by Priority USPS. Ordered it in Woodland Camo to match my AHE 3S Owyhee TQ.

Yes. I'm a geek. I have a matching UQ and TQ from AHE.

But I don't care! Sue me!

This UQ is freakin' awesome! Even the little tabs attached along the sides which could be used to help snug the thing up to my hammock are in woodland camo fabric!

The attention to detail astounds me. The elves from the North Pole can't hold a candle to how fast Paul makes this stuff and Santa Claus sure can't beat Paul's shipping times. I'd be remiss if I left out Paul's uncanny ability to keep me posted via emails during every freakin' step of the way. Incredible communication!

Alan, I am psyched how much you like the gear There is a Gringo that I know that said today he is going to want to check out that quilt at the TX hang coming up. That is if you can get him out of deer camp If you happen to ever string up the side loops use some shock cord so that there is still some flex in it.

    Enjoy

Hope to test out the new UQ tonight.

We finally got our first little cool front here in Texas. It might dip into the mid-40s tonight where I am. Of course, it will just climb back to 90+ by the next morning.

    Alan,

I can't wait to see your "geek gear" at the Texas hang! I will be waiting for you to show it off...since I don't own either. Yet.

Paul - I'm betting that all I'll have to use is the UQ! I'll post results.

Thanks for the pics Alan, they really add perspective to the XL NR. With the skeeter net tossed over that thing almost seals right up. Is someone in the hammock for the pics? Add a BBO and you are in nest land.
