There's something about that second picture, the lighting perhaps, that is scary as hell Shug. It looks like you have those opaque contact lenses on and a huge nostril.

Very nice, Shug! My Tulle version is super light, but is not as durable (my kids recently ripped it apart so I need to make a new one). I'm excited for you and think your net looks great! I like the trimming on the ends; a nice touch.
Also, don't forget to put your under quilt over the HUG; this will help seal it and keep it tight all around you. Thanks for the great photos.

Just made of these today. Nice DIY project.

This looks too good not to try. One question though.
Does the grosgrain edging help or hinder the fit at your waist? Any thoughts about that after using it some?

I love this! great design and ideas here!
I currently use a DIY full hammock bugnet that uses the soft-seal system (ordering new Jungle hammock with built in bug net next week though). Works GREAT however it's a bit bulky and heavy for my liking. My friend used a bug suit for our first try. He found that the bug jacket (with built in hood) was GREAT, and universal. He said the only downside he found, was he had to sleep with a hat on to keep netting off his face.
This design is sort of a "meet half way" sort of solution.
I do have kids and looking forward to when they can come camping with me. Right now, a bit young (3yr old daughter, 1 yr old son - whom I hope like hell gets into hammock camping like I am, so we can go for "guys night out" trips, lol)
Thanks again!
