    i used strapworks poly and 2 d's to make a great belt.
    i was even thinking about making another one.

    Try Jo-Ann Etc. or call around and ask. You want 100% polyester only.

    if you want a heavier duty thread, check upholstry shops. many small machines can handle 69 wt thread.

    the only heavy duty thread i've found in joanns is upholstery thread... worked fine to hold together the seat covers i made for my car.

    yeah, i checked out all kinds of tow straps and cinch straps and ratchet straps. and none of them said if they were nylon or poly. its a conspiracy.

    Are you not able or willing to buy online? That would be the easiest way. And Ed Speer's site has everything you need, thread, polypro straps, etc.
