Also, last time a lot of blow downs along the access trail were cleared. Much of it large diameter but GREEN at the time. Much of it was less than 1/2 mile from the shelter & just tossed to the side of the trail. Maybe if each grabbed a branch on the way in,,,,,,,,

After the, , , , , , difficulty, keeping a fire going with WET frozen wood last year, I'm bringing a 3 pack of Duraflame (R) type logs, one for each night I'll be there*, to help start the fire. Yea, that's cheating, but if the wood is as wet this time as it was last time, AND frozen solid, AND covered in Snow, I have no problem "Cheating"




*I may stay Sunday night also, but will forgo the fire if I can't start it quickly without cheating.
