I went for a bike ride today and decided to bring along my new hammock and tarp for quick hang on my property outside of town. I am really liking the looks of the Ogee tarp and all its possibilities... can't wait to test it in the rain. The Switchback Light Hiker fits me great and I didn't want to get out once I settled in. I was able to quickly find sweet spots for laying on either my side or my back. I tested the Trangia stove with the Bushbuddy... it worked great except that when I needed to snuff it out with the snuffer lid, it just kept on going. Anyone experience this problem? I am looking forward to a much lighter/better solution for my Bushbuddy stove for when I need to use alcohol. I have tried just pouring alcohol in the bottom with nails for the pot support and air gap, but I didn't get good efficiency. I also tried out my new titanium lid for the Snow Peak 900 pot that was made by Four Dog Stoves... it's really nice. Enough said, here's pics.
