"Grippy" and "Slick" Pad?

For warm weather use I have a very "Grippy" 1/4" CCF pad from Speer
Hammocks that sticks like glue to the hammock. The problem is that it
sticks to me to, especially when using a quilt! Any suggestions for a
lightweight way to make the top surface "slick"? I'm thinking of
gluing a piece of sil to the top surface. Anyone have any better ideas?

You could always try to dust the side that sticks to you with talcum powder. That may keep it from sticking to you. Quick and easy fix.

I use the same method when I seam seal a piece of gear. The sealer is tacky when it dries and will cause the fabric to stick together. A quick dusting of talcum powder normally solves the problem.

This is great idea...especially for those suffering from "monkey butt"... just use liberal Talc in the bvds...

I tried the talc, smelled good but didn't work, the top side was still grippy. Still looking for a way to make the top of the pad slick while leaving the bottom grippy. The Speer SPE works, it's my fallback. But I'd like something that doesn't require extra gear and maybe saves a few ounces.
