    Stormcrow's got my vote...

Pulled the trigger and ordered an underquilt moments ago. The Winter Crowsnest looks like it will be about perfect for me.
I tossed around every option, and just when I thought I'd have to either wait or make my own, I sold some other kit and freed up just enough dough.

The WCN is nice for me, cuz I can use it in winter and most of the shoulder seasons - even cooler summer nights up here. And by summer, I'll be ready to get a lighter quilt.

    Whoot!! or, Whooo, buddy!!

    I really can't wait.

Next on the agenda - Supertarp.

I slept with my winter crow's nest last night for the first time. Was very comfortable at 44 degrees.

By the way, the Crow's Nest was purchased from another hanger here on HF. All around a good deal.

I'm in line with many others waiting for my Winter Incubator. I'm looking forward to some cold weather stealth camping!

You've made a good choice. I went with the 3-season, but where you are the extra insulation will help.

I will add that I didn't think an UQ would live up to the hype, but I was wrong. I used the 3-season at 0°C and I was warm and comfortable all night even without the hot water bottle. My feet were cold because I wanted to see if I could go without the pad, so I know it was cold and it was the UQ that kept me warm.

I ordered my 3 Season Incubator last week. I am inpatiently waiting. I don't experience as much cold as most of you, but I still want that downy warmth...
