It was everything I knew it would be and more. So beautiful down there! We took a little break at the bridge and had a snack then went a piece on the Linville Gorge trail. We turned back a little past a cave where I picked up some trash to carry out. I can't believe the size of the trees across the trail! What a job it must be for the trail maintainers.
We met Mutely on the way up the trail and he accompanied us on the way back to the top after he made a quick tour of the bridge. Then hunger was on our minds so we swung by Louise's for country fried steak & gravy with mashed potatoes, fried okra, apple sauce and of course More PIE!!! Woooooo Buddy!!!!

    Thanks, QuestTrek and CFisch9!

I've been using inferior editing tools, so I have to make up for it with content and story telling. Just wait until I finally get a better editor, and can add still shots, text, credits and such!

For instance, I would really love to pan across the panoramic still shot of the Gorge, with text in the foreground introducing the video. Thing1 and I spent about 30 minutes driving around the countryside looking for a place to get that shot. We'll be back, because I think there are other places closer to the mountains.
