I've got Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off next week (November 8,9 and 10) and am looking to go hiking. I'm thinking about the AT somewhere in NC, TN or VA maybe. Anyone interested in joining me? Definitely open to other ideas, but not looking to recreate the Bataan Death March, either.

I would go if I didn't have to work. I was planning to do a local weekend hike/hang in Nov. at the Uwharries or Birkhead. Didn't know if anyone else would want to do this also...
If only you lived closer to Arizona...

Hope to join you! I can't commit for a few days yet, some lingering "GI" issues (no fun on the trail!). I'd be up for a Sunday start. Lower Va? Damascus/Mt. Rogers?
