Supporting Members of HF get access to more!

I notice that we have many new members, with more being added all the time. This is great and a strong testimonial to positive side of hammock camping.

I would encourage all members to become supporting members of Hammock Forums for two reasons:

    1. You will be helping to keep the forum healthy and growing.
    2. You get access to some really neat additional forum topics that are NOT available to non-supporting members. These forums include:
    • Roundtable off-topic
    • Backpacks
    • Camp Kitchen
    • Clothing
    • Cutlery
    • Other Gear and DIY
    • Paddling

No one asked me to do this "commercial" and no one is required to become a donating/supporting member. What strikes me is that if you do become a supporting member, you actually get access to relevant (albeit non-hammock) forum possibilities with a knowledgeable and friendly group of like-minded individuals. I hate to see anyone miss out on information that is useful, fun or helpful to enjoying time outdoors.

+1 on that. It really does pay to be a member. (stolen quote)

Good heads up Beep, thanks. I am waiting to set up a Paypal (stinkystinkystinky) account and for my son (a cyber security geek among other talents) to find time to assist. All in good time...

Definitely want to become a registered memeber...

What do the various 1 year $10, $15, $20 denote?

What's meant by "Validity periods marked * indicate that purchasing this subscription is recurring, this means after the period is complete it will automatically be renewed."

    Cheers

There's no "extra" benefit to the larger donation amounts over $10 other than whatever internal satisfaction it may offer you.

I don't know about "validity periods marked...". Perhaps an Admin can enlighten us.

I have also heard that supporting members get better weather on camping trips...that alone is well worth the $10!
