I was thinking the same. Take two and make one the size you want...dump all the down from both into your custom cut and be happy.

hey does anyone know what the loft is... im assuming it is really cheap-like 500 at best, because they are so inexpensive.
    Thanks,

I'm sure it's cheap stuff. Label just says 80% down, which I assume means there are feathers in there too. The throws have very little loft to them.

I picked up 3 today, one blue & two grey. They don't have much loft, but I figure one would be great next to the couch (I'm stingy with the heat), and I can use the other two to make a UQ. I only car/motorcycle camp, so weight isn't that big a deal for me

    FWIW...

Went to a SA in Greenville, South Carolina - but they didn't know what I was talking about. Manager called another SA nearby but same story. Then she surprised me by calling Academy Sports and they told her they had a similar item and they go for $9.99, come in lots of colors, and measure 60"x50".

Omaha SA has 10 of them $9.97 and had some other think fleece blankets the same size for $6.97. The cheap skate in me had me purchasing the FLEECE one instead. They just looked warmer but maybe I should go back!

We bought 4 in Fenton (St. Louis) SA. Trying them out this morning on the couch and they are nice and toasty. I'm thinking this is my summer TQ. Short, but if you had a jacket they would be fine and I'm thinking about getting a down sweater from Eddie Bauer. Maybe one on top and one on bottom.
