I have a bunch of what looks like either nylon or polyester taffeta. But it is a whopping 3.75 ounces per yard and is .007" thick. ??????
Thanks, Mule

Might be oxford cloth. Oxford cloth looks kind of like a coarse taffeta. (Think fine quality men's shirts... Brooks Bros, Land's End and the like) The content you should be able to limit by the burn test. Unless of course it is a cotton/poly blend. That might give you more difficulty.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Thanks Ramblinrev. It has now taken the shape of a DIY BlackBird. I cannot believe how flat the lay is in the hammock. I think I am going to buy my next Blackbird though if I ever get another one because it is a lot of work. I probably have 12 hours in this one.
