    Black Mamba

just got my black mamba, its the regular, 20 degree 2" baffles.
used it 2 nights now. I feel like a little kid with a blanky.

its hard to find the words to describe.
    wow!

its like floating and swimming in a slippery feather filled ultra warm wonder land.

makes the whole hammock experience a little more like sleeping on a cloud.

    thanx brandon!!
    couldn't be happier
Because you fall through the clouds if you try to lay on them, so the next best thing is a hammock.

Sounds enticing and just what quality down fill gear is all about...synthetic just does not come close. I am lusting after the XL version as I type. How about that slippery quality staying in place in the hammock though?

Well yeah but we all know you get the extra special super custom ones made out of unobtanium. Kinda like the bikes motorcycle mags get to test.

    Thanks Shug.

Patiently Waiting to order Long mamba. This upgrade and a ULA Catalyst will drop my base weight 6lbs, for winter hanging.
The Older I get, the Faster I use to be.

On first read I thought you Winter base weight WAS 6lbs instead of shedding 6lbs.
The ULA and the Mamba weigh in around 4.5lbs combined. I was wondering how did you manage to get a hammock, UQ, cook system, water treatment and winter clothes to be 1.5 lbs?

Still isn't the 2600 cubic inches in the main body a bit tough to pull off? I think my TQ and UQ would eat 2/3 of that right off!
