    VIDEO: Production Tarp/Sock

Here is the Tarp/Sock I made for Pravenda. It's silnylon with a breathable nylon bottom. There is a short rain skirt to encourage rain to fall away instead of wetting the bottom. It uses the hammock's ridgeline, just as the SEEP would do normally. I'm looking forward to hearing Pravenda's report on how it works for him!

Looks interesting. You referenced Hangnout's dirigible video earlier. Is this his design? Did he suggest any features that you incorporated?

Hi, MacEntyre, just come back from a short trip and found this new thread and the video. Brilliant!!!
Looks awesome!!! This will protect and will also look nice in porch mode.
@ richtorfla: Be sure, I will enjoy this first sock/tarp by Mac and test it truly in alpine conditions.

    A report will follow up.
Mac, thanks thanks a lot for building this beast of a sock/tarp for me.

Hi, there are some big differences between: fabric isn't lightweight cuben, there is no extra self closing SEEP like MacEntyre, Pips or other normally are dealing with. The SEEP is the tarp. Weight is like my 144''OMW, but with all benefits of a sock.
So, in my opinion, I would also like to use the features of my DH DB by papa smurf: If necessary,I will try to use for further protection the build in over cover as a SEEP or in warmer bug times the build in bug net. Maybe I have to deal with another ridgeline, -time will show.
