    Smile Sometimes...

    "Alone and peaceful."

Life is filled with opposites: positive and negative, hot and cold.

In each such case, there is no "one" without the "other."

The time I spend alone helps me appreciate the joy of fine company.

The time I spend in the company of those who are, shall we say, not so fine helps me appreciate being alone.

In each day, we have to find a way to prepare ourselves for the next.

"Who cannot bear solitude, is lonely." ---BBQDad

Very insightful words, me like, and I my self find peacefulness when Im hanging alone, stareing at the sky listening to birds chirp with out my high school students always screaming and yelling in my ear about how they dont want to do any work. Man do I wish I was that guy that night, but I will be in 20 days, winter break hike coming up soon. And I as well would like to read the old ladies post im sure its interesting.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
