SOLD: Thread Injector/sewing machine F.S.

SOLD Mid 80s New Home sewing machine now owned by Janome. It is a metal bodied mechanical sewing machine with free arm with removable table. It has straight stitch and multi width zig zag push button reverse and manual buttonhole/bar tack, blind stitch, and has a few extra feet i.e. clear foot, rolled hemmer and a few extra bobbins. Foot speed control also. It has seen very little use by my wife over the years although I have made a TQ and UQ with it a few months ago. I will ship it just about any way you want as long it does not involve dog sleds or mules, I don't want to be bit or kicked and you pay what it costs to ship I will cover any insurance. Cost is a scant $ 65.00 and I prefer paypal.

Yes it works well, I have not had any problems with it. I bought it new for my wife for Christmas many moons ago. She does not sew much but that was what she wanted. I doubt any wise man who likes a happy home fails to get that what she wants when it comes to gifts.

Is there a Model # available? Any manuals included?

We have moved eight times since I purchased this machine including three houses, three apartments, and two sailboats, I could not even guess where let alone when I/we lost the manual. As for the model number it is 791, I got it during National Sewing Month around 84/85.

Reduced to $ 50.00 to move it along to a new owner. First and only reduction will be sent to charity if no one wants or needs it.

I am interested, I do worry about tension issues. I am trying to figure the tension thing out, and it seems some machines have more issues with this than others. What is your thought on that?

As far as tension issues go I have only had a problem when I forgot to check the setting when I started sewing. Pulling it out of the box I have turned it down so low that it would not have much top tension and would end up with looping on the underside of my work. I learned to check all settings prior to that first stitch. I read a few beginners books, The Complete Idiots Guide to Sewing and Sewing for Dummies they helped me understand the theory of sewing and sewing machines and was a great help. I love the public library.
