has anybody tried the solid elastomer stretch cord from aps? i meant to order a piece last time i placed an order, but forgot. looks interesting, and sounds like it has a 20# return force, which seems pretty good. they also have solid elastomer shock cord as well.

I've ordered it. It was for replacing the rigging on an old kayak I used to have. When it arrived I found out that it would not take a knot (being too slick to hold one) so I still have it. Seems like you have to get the plastic attachments to make it work. Want me to find it and offer it to you at a bargin price??

    theraband tensioners

I realize what Im about to post may get some rocks thrown at me, but for the guys/gals who dont want to make or cannot find materials to make their own tarp tensioners here's a link that you can buy them pre-made. These are not made for tarps, but work well nonetheless. The Dipsy Diver Snubber is made for salmon fishing. Of course I bought these before I found out that Lowe's carries tubing. I even asked the guy at Lowe's where it was and nobody knew! I would rather make them myself but these are cool since the swivel snap is easy to use.

No rocks available at the moment.
Those things look cool. Someone else has posted about these before.
