This is what 3lb of it looks like (not fluffed!)
Notice the Jetboil PCS for scale.
Maybe I'll just take these shipping bags, and toss them into my WBBB as my Winter Top Quilt! You guys think 14" of loft is enough?

boot
Where did you end up ordering from?
good lord that's a lotta down
14" might be enough, did you check the weather for this weekend? I heard it might get down to 50!!!!!! Maybe you should bring a fleece blanket, and possibly a vapor barrier... Good luck!!
(envy, envy, envy!)
SWEET!!!!!!!! What are we making with all that fluffy stuff.... LOL!!!
I'm going to be making a 1" loft down throw for my mom. (sew through). And probably a 2.5" Karo UQ/TQ as a loaner for friends who want to try cold weather camping in the coming months.
After that, the rest is either going to be sold (if I realize quilt making isn't for me), or made into more advanced under-quilts and top quilts.
I just need to find some inexpensive black 1.1 calendered ripstop. I've got everything else on hand already.
Would also love to know where you bought those sexy pillows from.
