I found a rather unexpected source for a single hammock in olive if anyone is intersted. And no, you don't have to be a Jarhead to buy from them.

That's a good looking hammock!

IMPOSSIBLE JUST TAKES LONGER
Yeah, call it lounging Marine Corps style. I want to make my own, now that I have a sewing machine, but can't find a decent source for olive ripstop. I should have bought some olive when it was in stock at Denver Fabrics and saved it.

ripstop parachute nylon. i wonder if it's heavier or lighter than an eno? great color too.
That's the Ultralight Travel Hammock. Campmor for $20.

It's quite a bit lighter than an ENO Singlenest. Maybe not as durable...
well, at 10 oz, it is alot lighter. based on dimensions, i figured it to be 1.7 oz ripstop if the listed weight includes nothing but the fabric, if it includes rope, s hooks, stuff sac, it's probably 1.1 ripstop.
I have one, $20 campmor. Definitly worth $20. Probably a little short for those 6ft and up.
I don't think it is the ultralight but the regular para-silk single. 16oz weight. on gunbroker for around $28.
I have that one, I used it on my last trip before I started my DIY hammocks. It is hooks and rope to hang it. Problem I had was finding just the right trees for the rope to go around and the right distance between said trees.

How long is this hammock? The campmor site says 9.5', the Marine site says 10.5. Also, the campmor site says 250 lbs, and the Marine says 400. It is really the same hammock, or just the same picture?
