Has anyone ordered any items from Brian @ OES lately? The only reason I ask is that I know he is in and out alot. I have sent a few emails about a new Maccat and haven't received a reply. I wasn't wanting to wait forever for my new tarp. If anyone has any info it would be appreciated.

In late August I contacted Brian about getting a MacCat Deluxe tarp ASAP. I was leaving the next week on a river trip and had discovered at the last minute that my old Kelty Noah tarp was trashed. It took a few days for him to respond to my email as he had been out. He had the tarp in stock and overnighted it to me. It arrived as promised & on time for my trip. I was a little nervous when I didn't hear from him promptly after each email I sent, but he delivered the goods as he said he would. I love the tarp & was very happy with his service.

Yes I did. two weeks ago.
It was at my door a week after I sent payment. He did a great job, and I would recomend him very highly. I ordered two tarps from another vender, and I'm still waiting. I was told two weeks, and there would be no problem in having them for my trip that was over a month from date I sent the money. Two weeks before my trip I inquire about the ETA of my order, and was told that they had shipped. A week, and a half later I e-mail him for a tracking info. The responce was he made a mistake, and it never went out. Three days before my trip I'm left with no tarps. I'm still waiting. It's been three times longer then I was told. If they don't ship by Friday I will ask for a refund, and order from Brian.

2nd on the 2 week thing. Sent my specs, he sent the price, and in about 2 weeks my custom made was at the door.

Spoke with Brian threw e-mails. He is 1-1/2 to 2 weeks behind on orders going out. Not bad at all. A great product, and a reasonable wait time.
I ordered about a month ago and my tarp got shipped to 2QZQ whithin two weeks. Now im just waiting for my doors to be put on. I know he is a grad student and gets bogged down with school work from time to time but he always delivers with a top notch quality product.

I just placed an order online on Monday. The auto reply acknowledgment came right away but I haven't been contacted about payment yet.
I placed an order for an alcohol stove about 2 weeks ago. Got the automated confirmation email. Waited a day or two and then sent him an email asking if my order was received and to please contact me to arrange payment. Still have not heard anything.
I have traded numerous emails with him over the past couple of days. Just ordered my tarp and some other stuff. Now the waiting begins!
