    SOLD: OES MacCat Deluxe SpinnUL

    Good morning folks,

I'm selling my brand new tarp. Why, you will ask, is it defect or not as good as everybody says it is? No, that's not the reason: It's every bid as good as people claim it to be and it's brand new, only been out with me once. But it has one flaw that I simply won't be happy with in the long term. The light grey color is not as "stealthy" as I assumed it would be. So here it is:

OES MacCat Spinn UL Deluxe tarp, fitted with two pullouts each side (total 4), complete with set of high vis red lines, black ridge line with prusiks, shock cords at each of the tie outs, been out only once, complete with stuff sack.

$160 CONUS or Europe shipped from Germany, payment via paypal.

In this thread you'll see it in use: http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=24454

    Happy buying, saupacker

I agree that the gray is not as "stealthy".... unless you are camping in snow. Then, a gray color tarp blends in very well with the landscape. I use my fully enclosed OES grey silnylon tarptent for winter-snow trips when I need to hold in warmth and keep the wind and snow out. I use a lightweight Hennessy Hammock coyote brown silnylon diamond rainfly for use in warmer temps and better concealment.

I feel that the gray color has it's benefits and winter camping is when I prefer a larger tarp. Just a thought. Sweet tarp and I like the extra tie outs along the side (will help with heavy snowfall). Good luck with your sale.

I'm not sure how long it takes you guys in Europe to get gear shipped from the USA, but I can tell you that UPS will get an OES Deluxe Spinn from Germany to Arlington, TX in two days. Shipped on Monday 10-15 and arrived here on Wednesday 10-17.

    Thanks Christian!
