    Hi from Belton, SC

I stumbled on this forum while looking for instructions for making some old style navy canvas hammocks. Have not done any hammock camping getting my wife to tent camp took me 2 years, but i could see doing some hammock camping with my son in cub scouts as a distinct possibility.

Welcome. I just got into hammock hanging this summer. The folks on this forum are very friendly and have a ton of knowledge on all things hammock related.
Beware though, once you get started in hammock hanging, you'll find yourself buying or making all kinds of cool stuff. Maybe if your wife experiences the comfort of a hammock, she'll jump on board.
