    Cool good find

I lived on the west side for several years, never thought of doing that.

Hard to tell from the photos, I think they're using ENO's.

Related to this I came to work yesterday too early. I fiqured "well since i don't have much else to do mean as well string up the hammock and chill for a bit" so I find a good place in my employers parking lot and string up my ENO double.

Lasted a whole 15 min before "security" came over and asked me to take it down because it was...and i qoute "freaking the tenants out" I couldn't help but laugh a bit...of all things for concern, a resourceful working American in a hammock should be at the least of peoples concerns.

Nice photo. As hammock hanging becomes more popular I foresee hammock harassment likely to increase .

Not to be a wet blanket. . .but its not harrassment when you "hang" on private property without permission. . .its trespassing. You enter the world of the homeless people sleeping on a bench somewhere.

When I hiked the NY Long path down into NYC, we made central park our ending-point. I'd considered hanging up my hennessy for some lounging but instead opted for laying on a picnic table instead because I was pretty exhausted from pounding out a 20 miler.

Next time I hike into an urban city center i'll remember to get my hammock out so I can make the paper!
