I love oatmeal rasin cookies too. I hope people haven't forgotten about the trip , not as much publicity as the Roan mountain or the Minnesota frozen but hang but steal fun : (
Hike the 1/4 mile day 1 then 7 miles to campsite 2 and 7 miles to shuttle cars making a loop.
Hike the 1/4 mile day 1 then 7 miles to campsite 2 and then 7 miles back to original starting point.
Hike the 1/4 mile day 1 then day 2 3 miles set up camp then do day hikes
Just make a plan as a group night one around campfire.

hmmm lets see since i gotta pack it in how about i bring potatoe chips?.....just kidding I can bring some macaroni salad if that sounds good. since we will have abundant refridgeration.
Macaroni Salad sounds good glad we have time to get snow again put all this work into a pulk sled lol
Amen to that! I've got my pulk sled all set and ready to go. We definitely need some snow. I was planning on use my pulk at this hang and also the Mt Rogers hang. Now that the location of the Mt Rogers has been relocated to the group camp ground. I will not get a chance to use it there. So I will be asking the man above for some snow Quehanna Trail area in Feb.

I just need to add one more strap and skags and it's ready. I want to see how it does on a grade though using 3/8 fiberglass poles
well got my sled,Pelican snow trek 45. now time for the mod's.
I volunteer to bring the brauts. I'm assuming we'll have a good place to cook them up? Not really the kind of thing you can cook over an alcohol stove.
I've been thinking of making myself a pulk too. But here in State College we have missed all the snow that northern and even southern PA got so now I'm wondering if it's worth the trouble. I really like the plans here
I got the permit in mail today gave what car makes I had good up to 20 people I will update list with who's bringing what later
You can put me down for a maybe on this one, it's a bit early for me to tell if I can make it but I'd like to do a Feb outing to keep up with my once a month trip schedule
I gathered the dates are 18-20th of Feb, and we're planning to do a hike in for this one rather than car camping. Are we definitely meeting at the Quehanna trail? I tried to read the rest of the thread but I couldn't tell if that was the final decision or not.
