Hike the 1/4 mile day 1 then day 2 3 miles set up camp then do day hikes
Just make a plan as a group night one around campfire.
Well that's it, Just enough room for the kitchen sink. Team of horse's to pull the pulk and all will be good. LOL, I crack myself up, See ya all on Friday, Drive safe.
Just tested out an new alcohol stove I got from batchstoves.com. I'm a huge fan of the Jetboil, but think I'll take the batch stove along on this trip and give it a good run.
I ditched the little 4 oz dispenser bottle. It leaked. That aside, the stove performed nicely. A bit slower that my jetboil, but a lot quieter! haha... Got me daydreamin' about sitting in my hammock with a little stove heating up water for supper or tea.
Can't wait for the weekend!!!
I wonder if blaze orange works on a full moon night?
Just found out about this event from a guy I work with.

Woo hoo! The day is finally here! I'll see you all tomorrow!
Gotta pack first of course. Just came from outside and wondered if I should bring my shorts and sandals Actually I hear it's going to cool down Friday night to below freezing and then Saturday will be cool and breezy.
Gonna be nice.
Oh, I gotta go buy those brats as well. Do we have a final head count so I know how many to bring? I was planning on between 2 and 3 per head. Hopefully that will leave room for dutch oven desserts.
picked up the macaroni salad today glad i dont have to hump that very far..some dry firewood and plan to be arriving around 3pm Friday give or take an hour...or 2. see you all then.
Hope yunz all have fun. I am packing to head south.
Full moon out tonight. Hope there's a little snow up there to shine off of.
It was great meeting all of you today, when i got home i felt that wind ripping through the mountains and I couldnt help but think of you all out there tonight. I hope none of those trees come down!
It was great meeting everyone. I'd have taken more pics, but I dropped my camera in the creek that's in the last picture. Fortunately it dried out and is working great now!
Just wanted to share the few pics I got to take.
