that pink duct tape is totally cool.. i prefer however to call it "light red"

i used red "plasti-dip" on mine but it is wearing off and i think the heat shrink tubing is a far better idea. thanks!

Actually Green Tripteeze glows at night and reflects led light great and still allows stealth camping. I use orange electrical tape from the hardware store .... Posted that one over a year ago. - just not here.

Google tells me that "phosphorescent" materials absorb light and re-emit it over a period of time. Think "glow in the dark" toys.

"Fluorescent" materials change the light waves that they reflect, into brighter portions of the spectrum easier for the eye to see.

I have a short loop of red cord through the end of mine, I find the red stands out best against the ground.

I use pink whenever I can. There are not many bright pink things naturally occurring in my woods. I went with the wire wrap because it doesn't have any sticky residue (trust me I cherish my pink duct tape) and is VERY durable.
I love to see everyones ideas on this site.

I've found the white LED's put off enough in the UV spectrum that most fluorescent colors really stand out.

    Love the ideas!

Thanks so much for the ideas. I spend way too much time looking for my titanium stakes.
