    That light is freakishly bright!

One night in Maine we had three hammocks tied off to three trees in a triangle formation and one of those lights gave off plenty of light for all three of us to cook.

The 2032 batteries are pretty easy to find.
As a test, I just went to change the batteries on mine.
Simple- Any coin in the big slot on the bottom, half turn or so, and the batteries are right there. Rubber O-ring as part of that bottom plug to add to the "Water-Resistant" claim.

As somebody else said about it being BRIGHT-

I then took it with me to take the dog out to the back yard.
I'll be hanging it above me, as at eye level it was almost too bright.

Since it projects light like one of those Coleman lanterns, you get a cone of darkness directly under the light. I figure I'll have it hanging right above me and be fine.

I had the light on the ridge line of my hammock, right above my head. It was reflecting off the pages of the book and it was annoying. I would prefer to have the light a little farther away or use a diffuser of some kind so I don't have to keep moving the book around. Reading with a headlamp is impossible. That is why I wanted to get a light in the first place.

I found one of these to be great for reading in lowlight conditions.
Great on trips, long night plane trips, etc. I can read in bed and not bother the wife. Pretty much just lights up the page you are reading. Comes in paperback size and standard bound book size.

Looks like now they have a rechargeable one. Mine uses AAA batteries, I think.

I've been eye balling this little gaget for some time now and finally getting around to ordering one. I think its a perfect emergency light as well as I like to hang a glow stick or a light from the outside of my hammock when not stealthing it so gothers don't trip over my lines.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Just had a buddy of mine to order me 2 of these little guys. Curiosity got the best of me and just couldn't see any reason to only get 1. If they are as bright as the reviews they are getting, I'm happy with them.
