Hey CD the idea is to make a biner that would connect amsteel to amsteel. So if you would like to connect amsteel to webbing you should have an amsteel loop to transition to webbing. Some have put webbing in a Dutch Biner but it is pretty tight. If I make the biner big enough to accomidate webbing on one side the weight is close to nano biners.
Peace Dutch

Dutch, one of the uses I found for those 2nds DCs you gave me (no spring) was to join the two sides of my Snugfit, once I'm inside. The Speer Hammock version of the Snugfit has red grosgrain loops in the center, by the label. I hooked a DC on one side, and after I got in the hammock, I hooked it to the other side. Almost closes the UQ around you, and makes the Snugfit fit a little more snugly! It's easy to remove.
