I can see why you were missed, excellent stuff, clear instructions, and some very cool innovations.

    Cheers

TeeDee - PM me the .pdf and we'll put it on the server and link to it.

Wow, just Wow. I skimmed through it since I'm thinking of making one in the future.

    Thanks.

I have explained what I experienced to a few people and have found that they do not understand or really believe me since they have not experienced it or have my abilities or anything similar. Suffice it to say that I really had no choice in my actions - I pondered my actions for over 14 hours and considered asking JJ to do the deed except that I knew he would be presented with a quandary - help my physical illness or leave things as they were - he would have no choice and my illness would continue and worsen. Rather than that, I cut the Gordian Knot myself and cured my physical illness. I realized at the time that the forums would be damaged, but the damage to the forums was really extremely minor compared to the physical illness I cured. You will have to take my word on that since you have no way of experiencing a similar illness.

I would not be back if I hadn't solved the problem and so have no plans on deleting any posts.
Sorry, I hate to reopen a old can of worms but this is exactly the same explanation originally offered (that the existence of some posts were some how physically hurting you) and I still find it disturbing you continue to use it as an excuse.

You are refusing to accept any responsibility ("had no choice") for something that was in essence not a very nice thing to do. There is also more of the - you'll have to take my word for it because you can't possibly understand me - type stuff. I'm all for forgiveness in light of contrition but I don't see any.

I also don't see any reassurance that it wouldn't happen again just because you currently "have no plans on deleting any posts". As a practicality I would hope that privilege was removed as a condition for reinstatement.

Maybe I'm being a jerk about it I guess, obviously the consensus here is to just forget about it and move on, so I'll shut up now and respect that.

May be easier to email it to those interested, assuming there is enough interest in a PDF version to warrant you taking the time to covert it.

I have to say it again, great article.

    EDIT:
Just Jeff that would be great if we could have a way to download the PDF.
