    spinn's top 2 advantages over sil are not the weight... it is the lack of condensation through the material (ie. raining inside the tarp) and the lack of stretch...

    And lack of stretch translates to more weight saved bc you don't need tensioners.

    I got my standard in black sil on the way. I plan on it being my main 3 season tarp. After seeing a micro and laying underneath it, I know the standard should be plenty good enough for most situations. The micro seemed great too.

    I just ordered a brown deluxe b/c I was worried about coverage with the standard. NOW this thread gets bumped up
