Video: Warbonnet Traveler Hammock and Traveler Net

I pushed out a video yesterday of the Warbonnet Traveler Hammock and Traveler Net setup.

For some reason the video I uploaded was HD but it is only showing at SD so, guess I will have to look into that closer on my next video.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYbCMHmsjAM

Thanks for all the feedback from everybody who threw out suggestions for video editing, from my last video set. I have tried to resolve all of the previous issues folks brought up - which the exception of not having any nature video of the local Redwoods. I could have spliced some in on this, and did try, but it just felt out-of-place for this video.

Neat idea using your smart phone as a TelePrompTer. It let you share a lot of good info that would have been hard to do from memory.

Good audio. Using a remote mic?

    Hey Knotty,

Yeah, I was reviewing three hammocks, two tarps, one underquilt, and some other small gear that day. The numbers where getting all frazzled up in my head so I had to pull an Obama and read everything.

Negative on the remote microphone. Good to know it sounded good on your end! If only youtube would have accepted the HD version I uploaded - sigh - could have had 1080p video to go with it.

    Thanks.

Nice hammock and net. Have been waiting to see it. One small thing, and it likely makes no difference for where you were: no need for WB hammocks to ever touch the ground and possibly get wet or dirty. Brandon's set-up makes this particularly easy, imo.

Have to admit, it's a little strange to be read to, but at the end of the day the intended info was shared. Agree the sound was indeed good.

Yes very much agree that setup correctly the bug-net should not realistically ever have to touch the ground... but part of doing a product review is the "what if" aspects. Only fair for me to consider as many situations as I can in doing a decent review.

Yeah, sorry about the reading from my iphone. It really was not my intent but this setup was a secondary review for me. I was out there to do testing on a prototype I have received I was really focused on getting all of it's details in my brain.

giggle - agreed. I threw this WB setup in at the last minute. I was out there to test something else and this just seemed like a good time to give it a test.

Of course, funny thing is, the prototype setup I took out with me ended up having some hardware issues too... the treestraps that came with it were about 2 feet too short to go around any of our smallest Redwood trees LOL.
