With my SUMMER set up!! OK, it was my 3 season, but as I like to hike in Mt's with weird weather, I carry it always.
WBBB double 1.0
Insulation: BBO on top of the WBBB, Molly Mac 1X under everything, Ray Way quilt with alpine upgrade as a 3/4 Under quilt, No sniveler (JRB) as a top quilt. I had my CCF back pad in place "in case" but I really don't think it was needed at all, I'll likely find out tonight.
I was wearing a pair of shorts (equivalent to my Kilt) Wool Socks, Whiteblaze (poly) Tee, Patagonia Poly long sleeve Tee & Fleece vest, acrylic knit cap (in warmer weather it's my pillow)
A few times I got very slightly chilled because I had thrown off my No sniv, meaning I had gotten hot sometime (Hours?) before. The wind was out of the WSW at about 0 - 10 mph. It hit 29 around 3:00 AM.
I am so tickled with this!!! Wasn't even wearing all of my clothing & didn't need the hot pack! So I think I can get several degrees cooler, which is great as in July of 08 I got down to 30 & "Froze" & I had ALL of my clothing on. [nylon vest, 3/4 sleeve dress shirt, 2nd WB tee, 2nd pair of socks, Gortex rain coat]
Life is GOOD!
