Kind of unusual for Ohio, although there have been parts of PA. smoldering for decades in underground coal mines. Some have caused the complete evacuation of small towns.
Do you imagine the universe is agitated?

Not that unusual, lots of coal mines in the area. I think the same / similar vein as in Eastern KY! A coal fire IN the mine is a pretty bad thing, there is one in KY (I think it's KY) been burning for decades!
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.
Just do a search for Centralia, PA. Sad story of a coal mine fire gone terribly wrong.
Centralia is about an hour and a half south of me. Gone past it many times, never had the opportunity to stop ans check it out.
