MillerGear's Linville Gorge Make Up Hang

I made if for the last 2 days of this hang, got to meet 'HangUmHigh' and had a reunion with MillerGear' he, MacIntyre, and I had been in this area in May...and an unplanned reunion with Wisenber who surprised us in the night.
Yeah, just another Gorge vid BUT Wisenber and MillerGear demonstrate the incredible combination of the Warbonnet Traveler and the Speer PeaPod!!!
Thanks for the invite MillerGear-nice enjoying steak and spirits with you! Nice meeting you too HangUmHigh and look forward to hiking with you and Wisenber again.
    If anyone can imbed:

    Thumbs up

Well guess while you guys were signing off today in the video ... Ken and I were on the ridge opposite you working trail on Rock Jock. Small world!

"Just another gorge video?" Ha ... can't have too many of those! Wisenber late to the hike? Wonder what Jennifer would say about that?

Glad you guys got together and had a good time. Looks like fine eating was experienced on this trip! Steaks? Sweet!

Well after a couple of days of hiking the gorge including Spence, a bit of the LGT, Conley and the aptly named rockjock, I begin to see what all the fuss is about. I'm truly blessed to have it only an hour away from my house.

Thanks to Millergear for setting this up and being a fine trail companion, to Medicineman for steaks and sharing his unique way of seeing the world.

And a special thanks to Hawkeye for a patch that I can now associate with a natural wonder practically in my backyard. Thank you neighbor.

All the fuss I've been reading you all make about the gorge around here, I get it now.

Day one I met Millergear at Louise's, had breakfat and hit the trail by 9ish. We made it down Spence and back up Conly Cove to the RJ intersection by lunch. Had a bite to eat and proceded on RJ. I ran out of steam and daylight about 3/4 of the way up and went to ground for the night. I caught up with MG an hour after first light and we got a ride to the Conley Cove trailhead and returned via CC, the LGT and Spence to our cars.

Lounged around a couple of hours and when Medicine man arrived we all went back to Louise for dinner. Next morning we dropped of vehicles to Table Rock, I shuttled us to Wolfpit, I hiked to the top of Shortoff and we parted ways from there.

It was a fine three days, when are we doing it again?
