That Hobbie boat is a great idea was that the first time you took it out?

    Beautiful trip, thanks for sharing.
The dogs were very friendly , just barked all night, so yes nuisance is a great word for them.

I love the Hobie! Not the first time taking it out, but first time on an over night. The mirage drive is so cool and fast, canoes and other Kayaks have a hard time keeping up. I put Santa on alert for the turbo fins for Christmas.

My Hobie is an older model. The newer ones have address some of my concerns like: more cargo space and with hatches, Dual steering and a rudder that comes up and out of the water, carry handles in the middle, mesh pockets for snacks and gear, steering handle that's up out of the water, a place for the optional sail kit...that's so cool. In the mean time, I'll do some mods on mine like the mesh pockets and some bungees on the front hull for another backpack and weight balance. Here's the web site for the Hobies:

Thanks questtrek! I've promised my brother I'd throw away my crappy camera. It's an old Apptek and has more then paid for it's self. The resolution just sucks so bad, plus I can't do any zooms or pan and zoom shots. Taking my good one next time, I promise
