ride and hang--lets work on dates

i'm trying to create my first poll ever. I picked these dates because...Memorial day weekend is the only spring holiday. And i always go in April anyway. March can be COLD depending... and April has always been more "springish" to me. this poll is set to close in 100 days. this thread might also be a good place to start the sign up sheet. As we get closer to time, we can firm up the locations...

Looks like Memorial Day is popular. The BMW Owners of Georgia Mountain Rally is April 29 thru May 1st so any of your proposed dates work

Since the cold weather hit two weeks ago a lot of us may not be thinking of our bikes. It's too icy here to ride and mine is on a battery tender in the garage.

I'm looking forward to a ride & hang this spring. Cumberland Gap was one of my suggestions for the location. But wondering if there are there any other suggestions?

super newb here. but a ride and hang sounds awesome! hoping the fat man in the red suit brings me a eno doublenest. i ride a 150cc genuine stella so no interstate riding for me but would love to meet up with everyone just to learn about the awesome world of hammock camping!

I'm interested. Only concern for memorial day weekend will be all the cagers that will be out at that time as well. Just a thought.

I've got a Bajaj and would love a Stella. Sadly I won't be able to attend a ride and hang for sometime.

This sounds like a great idea. I just got into hammock camping but I've been riding for 10+ years. I'm in central Texas but would be willing to make it a road trip if I have enough time to plan for it. Keep me posted! As far as dates go it's not that important to me. Super flexible job here.

I am very much interested in a Ride and Hang. Flexible is my middle name. Get a Date and a Place and I will make every effort to be there. I plan a long road trip sometime in April or May with no predetermined destination. Just hope I feel better than I did at the First Annual Fla Hang this past week. Was not my chipper self. Still trying to thaw out from Sunday night in 25 deg lovely Florida weather.
