Saved $170 thanks to HF member

Newby to Hammock Hanging, I purchased a HH Deep Jungle side zip. Then I meet SouthMark and was introduced to HF. After reading HF had my mind set on a WBBB (cat's meow). SouthMark suggested I try his before I fork out another $170.

So after sleeping in the WBBB for 4 nights, I have determined the HH Deep Jungle is much more comfortable.

Don't like the tie out on top of the zipper. Wasn't crazy about the footbox, which limits the direction you can lay. HH Deep Jungle very roomy and comfortable lay. I have modified the suspension on the Deep Jungle with whoopies.

I would like to lighten pack weight and plan on trying other hammocks, but so far the HH seems to be the most comfortable. Trying to find the compromise between pack weight and comfort

You are one of the very few much like me who find the Hennessy Hammocks to be just fine. I've spent a short while in the WBBB and really didn't find it any better in the comfort area. Maybe we're just built weird or something.

I love my BB, but I have to say that my wife's Backpacker Zip might be even more comfortable, for me. Just preference.

Too often the comparison is between a WBBB and HH Expedition, when it should be a HH Explorer which is more similar in size. The Explorer is a roomy and comfortable hammock.

Hmmm.. I was thinking of selling my new DJ so I could get a BB. Maybe it's not the right thing to do. Unfortunately, I can't try the BB before I buy. Thanks for posting this. Gunna give it some more thought

I just picked up an Explorer after always using an Ultralight Backpacker Asym (or Expedition). The Explorer is quite roomy and comfortable and of course the Mod 4 zipper addition makes it all the better.
