Then again, I think the reason many cottage US manufacturers left Pertex was due to its availability in the US. WV and I bought some last year from the UK. I think with shipping it was still under $8/yd.

Bad news on the Pertex front, it's getting quite hard to find over here too - certainly at a decent price. Some of you probably know the original mill has hit hard times and the Pertex brand is now owned by Mitsui. I still find the occasional roll but it shows no real sign of getting better. Such as shame.
