Adding zippers and sealing the velcro entry will do wonders! And its deffinitely the way to go with HH anyways, IMO.

I'm going to rip out the wimpy velcro and replace it with industrial strength, hold up a volkswagen, gorilla velcro. Or I may sew up the flap altogether and put in zippers on the bug netting.

I'm traveling for the holiday so I won't be able to work on this for a few days, but I'll report back and let you know what I find.

I put a zipper into my explr asym. Works great but I attached the zipper directly to netting and it caused a lot of stress on the net @ the ridge line. Now I am seeing some wear.. small holes. I suggest putting the zipper below it on the hammock body like the ZQ mod.

if you are short on time, you can ship the HH off to 2QZQ for your choice of modifications..not a customer, but they are well regarded. KM
