wtb different cook pot. my imusa grease pot is going to kill me.

I had my imusa grease pot for 6 months now and have not had a problem. It snowing right now so i figure i would try out my J.falk stove out with it and work great and coverd it with soot.so i threw it in the dish washer now my lid it has a bloachy cammo stain on the instide of the lid but the rest of it looks brand new. is it the metal warping does soot stain? let me know.

Aluminum loves oxygen and at a high temp with a strong detergent used in your dishwasher, plus the way it dries with heat, it hastened the oxidation of the aluminum in places. In the future use a mild soap, wash by hand and dry immediately.
