I certainly hope so. I'd better be on my way to professional by then.

I'm a member of the current majority group. There is little reason to reverting back to a ground sleeper. Only reason would be the "where". Like Antarctica. But even there an ice shelter and hang the hammock with ice screws. Above the tree line. Nope, brings some nuts and hope for some boulders.
I started in the fall of 01 with an HH and never looked back. I am a scout leader and I am in the woods every month and I have a kayak/fishing/camping addiction. I log around 30- 35 nights a year in a hammock. I only wish I would have found this site earlier.
I used to climb around in Europe in the summer time before
and i hated the tent bit.
And 2002 i somehow found Clark Jungle Hammock, Thank God for Internet
So i bought a Clark Jungle Hammock Delux (Now named NA) in July 2002.
And i have never looked back!
The Delux is still going strong!
I think i spent 1 night in a tent since then, the wife insisted
Hangin is still kind of new to the old world and the few you see is mostly Hennessy.
Ha ha, it toked me years and years to understand that you really need
a sleeping pad under you, so not so much winter hangin in the early years.
Then i found this forum.
That has been both good and bad!
The good parts :
I have found tons of ideas and tricks, so the development of the hammock and stuff around it never seems to end.
I have found a lot of nice helpful fellow hangers.
The bad part :
It is really hurting my wallet
But im not complaining,
I'm long gone from the hard ground with it's tilting, roots and stones.
I've been sleeping in hammocks since 1970...I made my first one...
I started getting interested about this time last year so I voted for the 1 year mark. I have had a great time on this site and give yall all the credit for getting me to where I am now. I started with a DIY and have sice moved it to a Clayto No Net and now to a HALO SE prototype.
