Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.
You could put a bug net only over your head since your body will be covered by a quilt. Something like DebW's bivy here but it doesn't have to surround the hammock...just let it hang. Put some slits on the sides so it hangs inside the hammock and there aren't gaps against the hammock's sides. Or maybe use some velcro tabs.
I hate bug juice and am willing to carry the weight of netting...this might be a happy medium for you.
