Does anyone have experience with making an underquilt with the Karo box pattern of baffles? Is there any reason why this is inferior to the normal longitudinal baffles that seem to be the norm?
The Karo type quilts just seem so much easier to stuff with down, that it seems to be a really attractive option. It shouldn't be too hard to make one that is differentially baffled as well. Have the baffles 12"W x 12"L apart on the bottom side and 10"W x 12" L on the top, then dart the bottom layer to take in some of the width.
