Cataraft Girl, I think you may recognize this spot. This is the 3S Incubator with the Burrow inside. Low 40's at night. Slept like a baby and almost missed coffee call.

Check out the river rock below. No competition from the tenters for this prime real estate.

Could that be Rock Island camp???? Our absolute fav layover camp on the Middle Fork. Wow, the water looks awfully close. We always run it in September at low water. My favorite fly fishing spot is just upstream, across from Whitie Cox hotspring camp.
The Incubator looks sweet on your WBBB. I can't wait to get mine.
Miss coffee call ..... are you crazy. I think that's a punishable offense. Can you say.....groover duty

It's Wollard Camp (Mile 74.5) but we did camp at Rock Island. You know, when I was sleeping on the ground in GC, I was always one of the 1st up and assisting with making the coffee. Funny how a hammock changed that.

Ah, Wollard. We camped there for the first time this year. Nice camp. We parked the boats down at the other end, in the big downstream eddy. Our kitchen was in the clump of low trees. The best hanging trees were at the upstream end of the camp. I think I hung my hammock right near where yours is in the picture. It was a bit of a walk down to the kitchen, but I had lots of privacy at my end of camp. We usually try for Survey, which is just across from Wollard. Flat, with TONS of nicely spaced trees, but Wollard was a nice alternative. The old faithful camps are great, but sometimes it's nice to try something new. Pics of our Wollard camp.
Man....talking about the river gets my heart pounding. Just put in our Main Salmon lottery "wish list" yesterday. Fingers crossed. I'm jazzed to try the Incubator & Burrow next year. Maybe I'll sleep through coffee call. No chance of that, the dog always wakes me up.
