Gotta find a way to leave work early....

I just received confirmation that my 3S Incubator has been delivered at home!
Whooo Hoooo! Can't wait to leave work and check it out....

Friday the temps will be down around 30° and the troop is headed out on the Florida Trail for a weekend trek. Friday night is hiking .9 miles to the first camp. I scouted it out a few weeks ago, and I already have my trees picked out. Expect a trip report with pics by Sunday or Monday.

Gotta get outta here to get to my new down UQ....

I'm patiently waiting for my Winter Incubator, I'm using the wait as a Zen exercise in appreciating the wait. I'm not real good at my Zen exercise.

I feel your pain, the 6 weeks it took for mine to arrive was torture. I guess pleasant torture because I just ordered a burrow to match the incubator. This is becoming an addiction. Hammocking = Crack!

You're making me thirsty! That and a good cigar is all you need. And all I have right now is a vodka gimlet.

I have to agree..... Hammocking = Crack!
Since August I've acquired two hammocks (Trek Light & WBBB), one MacCat tarp with another on order, new suspension, a KAQ Lost River with a 3 Season Incubator & Burrow on order, a BBO, plus misc. other hammock gear. I'm still looking at another hammock bag & tarp ridgeline from AHE, and that Black Rock hat is making me drool. I think I need a twelve step program.

Can't wait for my Incubator & Burrow, and 12X15 OES tarp to arrive.

I like your selection of a large tarp. So much more flexibility, so many different ways to tie out, configurations to use. If you need a tarp, you NEED a tarp, not a handkerchief that barely covers you, IMHO. Make sure he adds lots of tie-outs to enable this. Here's a pic of my last config, kept me warm on a 16* night in Indiana last weekend.

    Thanks for the pic fin.
I LOVE my MacCat Deluxe tarp for my hammock. The 12X15 will be our river kitchen tarp for small groups (2-4 people). The 12X12 Kelty Noah we were using was getting a bit cramped for 4 people plus our kitchen. I wanted something a wee bit bigger & lighter. But this tarp can also function as my foul weather / winter tarp. Lots of options.

Once you go Storm Crow you never go back . Cant rave enough about my summer and winter burrows and summer and winter crows nests as well as the excellent customer service. And Gavinar, once you get a night or two in that Incubator your gonna start to crave a Burrow reall fast, the a 3/4, then a summer set, winter set, 3 S set, its never ending. So be carefull Hammock Gear is very addictive it can make your sometimes.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
