    Interesting stuff

Saw a couple interesting things in the Sahalie catalog that came today. #1 - fleece fingerless gloves. Sort of like the wristees folks have been making, but with a little more thumb coverage. $10/$8 for 2 or more.
#2 - Toasty seat - NASA developed material, seat warmer. 16X12, folds to 4X12, 8 oz. $29.95. Not sure if it would work in a hammock, but looks interesting.

I use the Toasty Feet insoles and like them a lot ..... I carry them to put in my boots at camp (DRY!) after a day of hiking in cold weather. My feet always thank me.

    More interesting stuff

Who's going to be the first to buy one of these? Looks interesting, if a little pricey. Lighter than fiber insulators, and better insulation?

I wanted to come back to this thread and thank you for posting this info. I checked out the Sahalie site, which I had not seen before, and found this buff.

    Sahalie Circle Buff

I ordered the green / gray buff as well as the wristies and they came today. The gloves are great and the buff is totally awesome. I have not seen this style of buff anywhere else but I really like it. Now that I have it, I think I'll have it with me everywhere I go for the rest of winter. It's a great fit for all of the hoodless coats I have and those are the coats I tend to wear the most.

Glad it worked out well for you. I'm not sure what's up with the wristies. They are still shown in their catalog that came this week, but they've disappeared from the Sahalie website. The price was good so maybe they sold out? The circle buff looks great. The polar fleece buffs look kinda cool also.

I do believe the fingerless fleece gloves did sell-out. I placed an order for (2) pair soon after I read your post. Just what I was looking for. After referring back to the website a few days later, no longer there. Email tells me my order shipped. Not yet received.

    Thanks for the heads-up.

Campmor has ragg wool fingerless gloves and fingerless "mittens" pretty cheap...

I use these ($8.99 right now) with some OR waterproof overmitts...

or these ($9.99 right now) when the weather is dry...

My daughter is a big fan of circular scarves like that one. She wears it so many different ways to deal with different temps and weather that you'd think she was a bedouin.

    re

I'd like to see that Heat Seat in person. If its aerogel inside it might be work buying to cannibalize, especially if this thing ends up available at the big discount stores.
